Status: Full-time 

Essential Functions (duties)

Resident Support and Supervision:

      • Provide direct supervision of residents in accordance with treatment plans and safety protocols.
      • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meal preparation, hygiene, and medication reminders.
      • Monitor resident behavior and ensure compliance with facility rules and expectations.

          Therapeutic Environment:

          • Build positive and therapeutic relationships with residents.
          • Facilitate group activities, skill-building exercises, and recreational programs.
          • De-escalate situations using crisis intervention techniques and follow facility protocols.

          Documentation and Communication:

          • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident activities, behaviors, and incidents.
          • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders, including case managers and clinicians.
          • Participate in shift change meetings to ensure continuity of care.

          Safety and Compliance:

          • Conduct routine safety checks and ensure the environment remains safe and clean.
          • Administer first aid or respond to emergencies as needed.
          • Adhere to all state regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.

          Training and Development:

          • Attend mandatory training sessions, including CPR, first aid, and crisis intervention.
          • Stay informed about best practices in behavioral health care.

          Education and Experience:

          • High school diploma or GED required.
          • Associate's degree or higher in behavioral health, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
          • Prior Experience working in behavioral health, social services, or residential care.

            Prerequisites:

            • Must be 21 years of age.
            • Possess an Arizona driver's license and state mandated auto insurance.
            • Possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
            • Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen.
